Mr. Ben Halim started his financial career as a resident advisor at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency. He moved to Saudi International Bank (SIB) in London where he held a number of positions in arbitrage trading and investment banking, and was responsible for managing funds in excess of US$5 billion.
In 1998, he co-founded The Capital Partnership, a London-based asset management firm that provides wealth management and related services to selected institutions and ultra high net worth individuals.
Mr. Edwards has held a number of senior positions over the past 25 years, both Managing Director and Divisional Managing Director roles within Fortune 500 and FTSE 250 Companies. These roles have had specific industry focus in power generation, supply chain and logistics and the service sector.
He has also held the position of CEO in a Barclays capital backed private equity acquisition of a specialist asset leasing business where he led the management buy-in team and subsequently the sale process for 5 years after the acquisition. Mr Edwards has lived and worked throughout Africa and the Middle East over the past 15 years. He now works as an executive at LHG with a focus on Libya as well as holding several advisory and non-exec roles helping international businesses enter the Africa market place.
Mr Rodriguez is an executive with over 22 years of experience in the cement sector. He was CEO of BMM Group a Spanish cement multinational from where he moved to Orascom Cement in Cairo in 2007 as Global Business Development Director and in charge of Algeria (CIBA) and Spain. Over the last 10 years, Mr Rodriguez has held several top management positions in HeidelbergCement AG, the second largest cement producer in the world. Among others, he has been CEO and Chairman of the Board of Tanzania Portland Cement Company, one of the largest cash contributors to the Group and Chairman of the Board of all HeidelbergCement companies in South, Central and East Africa. Mr Rodriguez joined LCC as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO in February 2020.
Mr Mansour was appointed Lorasco’s CEO in September 2019. Mr. Mansour brings over 24 years’ upstream oil field services management expertise, in various roles and regions. He is also experienced in managing multi-billion value businesses.
Prior to his current role, he held various management positions in Schlumberger, including President for South & East Asia; Vice President Shared Services Organization for Middle East & Asia; Vice President and General Manager for Libya; as well as Vice President, Drilling & Measurements, for Middle East & Asia. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mansour held various management and engineering positions in Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria and UAE. Mr. Mansour holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Benghazi, Libya.
Mr Marx joined LHG in 2018 as Financial Controller and currently provides and leads all financial support for a number of strategic investment projects. He has over 10 years’ experience within Banking and Financial Services having worked in a number of Tier 1 banks in London.
Zarius has a degree in Financial Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Mr. Al Zubeidy was educated at Le Rosey in Switzerland and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. He has over 20 years experience in business development and relationship management in the Arab Gulf region and the wider Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. Al Zubeidy works directly with ultra high net worth individuals and leading institutions to source exclusive investment opportunities. In the mid 90’s he facilitated the formation of 30 successful JV’s between Australian and GCC companies.
He has been responsible for originating and managing relationships with some of the GCC’s largest and most well known investors for The Capital Partnership since 2007. Mr. Al Zubeidy also plays a key role in developing business with global operating partners.
